Went once and been craving since, definitely recommended and definitely going back.. Place is clean an bright. Food was delicious. The rice is fluffy and light and flavor of main course is my new comfort food.. Been back a few times now, still just as good.... The review reply came actually while we were there tonight... Updated, been back MANY times since.

This is my new favorite casual Mexican restaurant. The salsa is amazing and has a bit of a kick to it, which I love. The chips are good, the food is good, the service is good, and the prices are good—what more can you ask for? If you haven't eaten here yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. My current favorite dish is the Chile Colorado, and the portions are great too!

Skinny Spicy Haiku: Margarita, please Icy spicy perfection Thank you amigos I always look forward to dining here. The service is great, the food is excellent, and the margaritas are delicious. Thank you my amigos

El Viajero is a great addition to our town! We went on Sunday afternoon the weekend that they opened. It’s bright and colorful inside. We sat by the window with a nice view of the bar and the outside. We weren’t even seated yet and the chips and salsa arrived at the table. Everyone spoke Spanish, which I appreciate. We ordered a guacamole with chorizo appetizer which was different and delicious. My meal was a burrito Mexico, filled with chicken, steak, pork rice and beans. It was absolutely delicious. The three sauces in the color of the Mexican flag were a nice touch. I ordered a coconut margarita which was super refreshing. I’m so happy this place is now in Hooksett. I can’t wait to become a regular here. I returned for dinner this afternoon, May 24. Everything was still delicious, and service was still great. I ordered fajita burrito, delicious. Otra cena al viajero con una comida deliciosa. Esta vez, pedi una carne asada. Viene con frijoles, arroz, y una ensalada de guacamole. Cocinaron el bistec perfectamente. La margarita de la casa estuvo deliciosa. Servicio 5, comida 5, y bebidas 5.

My wife and I dined here recently for the first time. This place is a nice find! Food portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. It's a small place, nut nicely done. I had the Chicken Tortilla Soup (enough for a dinner on its own). It was different than ones I have had elsewhere, but so good! I had to take some home to leave room for my entree (also took some home) and dessert. I had the Burrito Mexico which was delicious, as was the Miguel Special that my wife enjoyed. The only complaint I have is that the burrito came with three different sauces and they were very light on the sauce. Typically, when you get sauce on a burrito, it is a healthy ladle full. These sauces seemed to be put on with a tablespoon, which led to the burrito being a bit drier than I like. Don't get me wrong, it tasted great, however with a little more of the sauces it would have been perfect! As to the service, they were very friendly and helpful, but a bit slow towards the end of the meal. We had a long wait to order dessert and again to get the check. They were starting to get busier at that time, so I understand, but it's still a pain to wait for your bill when you are ready to go. Overall, this was a great find and we will be back again!

First off, their Salsa is addicting. I'm normally and always have been a cheese dip guy but it's the perfect consistency and has a little bite to it. So good. The waiters recognize us now and greet us as they pass even if we dont getvserved by them. Very nice. I get the same thing every time and they basically already know our order before we place it. Love that. Very friendly staff and great food. The energy of the other customers is good here as well.

Wide variety of dishes, fresh made and delicious! Quick and friendly service. Not a huge place, but we got right in. Very reasonable prices! It is hidden in the back of the plaza.

The salsa was amazing had a really good flavor. Was seated immediately and the server was friendly and attentive. The watermelon mint margarita literally tasted like a sour patch kid watermelon. The chicken mexican street tacos were fresh, flavorful, and your could assemble yourself. Giving La Caretta a run for their money! Would definitely go back.
